Sunday Night April 2, 2006 9:36pm
Today was a fun day. We skipped church (good thing, we slept until 10:00am again!) and just hung out at the house. CP took my parents home while the kids and I stayed here. The three oldest went swimming while HJ and I sat and watched. She let me get closer to the pool without screaming today which is a good thing.
After the kids got out, they all started playing together. She does really well with all three of them, but there is definately a special bond with her oldest brother. She loves to spontaneously give him kisses and hugs. She ate lots of new things today, french toast, cereal, cheese peels, hot dog, sliced cheese, hamburger, etc. she likes most everything we have offered her.
I was expecting another fight at bedtime tonight, but amazingly did not get one. We put the boys to bed first and then the girls. When I went to rock HJ, she pointed to the floor where we have been sleeping together. I laid her down, kissed her goodnight and then left the room. Amazingly, she stayed on the floor and within a few minutes was ASLEEP! We skipped the nap today, so maybe she will sleep through the night.
Well, time for me to hit the hay as 6:30am will come early tomorrow. This is when the boys have to get up for school.
