Visa Requested

Well, yesterday I sent off our request for a visa to enter China. You must have a visa approval in your passport to enter China before you can leave. This must be requested in person, so we contacted a courier in Washington, DC to do this for us. Sometimes she gets 6month visas instead of 3month ones, but if we DON'T travel in the next 3 months, I think I'll scream!!!
I also started packing today (rather than just putting stuff to pack in my luggage). Everything looks good so far, if not too good. There is plenty of room and we are going Carry-on Only!

Inter-country adoption has decreased 59 percent from its high in 2004, due primarily to restrictions by sending countries.
81.5 million Americans have considered adoption. If just 1 in 500 of these adults adopted, every waiting child would have a permanent family.
