Spoons! War and other games

One of the boys' favorite games to play now is Spoons!  It is great because the entire family can play together.  TJ loves to deal and he is FAST.   TJ also likes to play WAR (cards).  This also works well for anyone in the family and is fun interaction.  The other night, JA, AT, and GW were playing a different kind of War.  They had their Nerf Guns out and were running all around our yard and the common area out front until 10:00pm.  They were having so much fun, I couldn't bear to tell them to come in any earlier.  TJ preferred his computer game growing vegetables - go figure!

Speaking of WAR- CP and all four boys went to a local airshow last week. I thought TJ and GW would enjoy that - what boy doesn't like airplanes and helicopters etc??? Well, I couldn't have been more wrong.  They were bored most of the time, but since AT was the one that begged to go (and he got left at home rather than going to China), CP stayed the entire time.  The boys were too bad off.  They had the BBK translator (with games!) to keep them occupied.
We have also played kickball with a neighbor in the common area of our neighborhood.  We found out GW is a MEAN kickball player.  He can really kick the ball far.  TJ is FAST.  (Haven't I said that before?)  We all had a great time.

I also took the boys to a "Learn English through Bible Study" class at a local church Wednesday night.  While the class is good, they just aren't ready for it yet.  They really need to have some conversational English before tackling this.  Tonight, I'm going to take them to a Chinese Bible Study at another local church where they also serve dinner - real, authentic Chinese, home-cooked food.  I hope they enjoy it.
