TJ is definately the more athletic of the two, but GW got some hits also.
AT found a little ringneck snake at the ballfield. We quickly discovered that GW does NOT like snakes and that TJ is curious enough to want to touch it, but that was it.
We also discovered this morning that GW has a talent for blowing bubbles from his hands!
Yesterday and today, GW and TJ got to talk to some older kids who were adopted from China about a year ago. I think this will help both of them in their adjustment. These are the same kids that wrote them the letters that I gave them on Delivery Day. One of the kids said that the boys are glad to be here, so that makes me feel good that they are happy. If you are adopting an older child, I highly recommend trying to get another child to write them a letter so they have an idea of what to expect. Then make plans for them to connect via phone/skype once they are home. I think it will help them realize they aren't alone in this strange new world and also that things will work out alright.

Having a BTDT adoptee write a letter is a great idea! I will keep that in mind!
Okay, a little off the subject, but two of our boys came home with the ability to blow bubbles from their hands with hand soap! I guess since toys were not abundant, they learned to improvise. So funny to see your son do the same thing!!
