After the girls went to bed, JA decided to show GW how to swim. He was very patient and good with explaining everything.

Another "First"!
Tonight, the kids got in the pool - ALL SIX of the kids. TJ had no qualms about getting in the pool from the day we got home. But GW - he was having no part of it - until tonight! He told us in China that he doesn't know how to swim. (Why he has no problem with going in the OCEAN - I don't understand!) Whatever changed his mind, he decided to join everyone tonight!

I'm so glad you are highlighting the firsts. This is so important for people who don't realize that you can experience all of the joys of 'firsts' with an older child. It may not be the first time they experienced something, but it is the first time they experienced it with thier family.
