Basketball

The other night, we decided to venture out to a local park and let the boys partake in one of their favorite sports - basketball. First, though, we had to go buy basketballs!  Anyway, when we got to the park, there were four older guys (post-college age) playing some 2 on 2.  I figured I would just but in anyway and asked if the boys could play with them.  They didn't seem to mind and quickly added one boy to each team. 

The amazing thing was that in this small beachside town, all four guys were minorities!  And one was Chinese who spoke Chinese to boot!  Ain't God good!!!!! I couldn't have asked for a better first time outing for the boys to play basketball. 

JA and AT even got in some b-ball with two other boys who were there playing. 

The cool thing about that was I had actually talked to their mom about 18mo ago about adopting!  We got to talk some more while the boys played basketball.  She is more than ready as well as all four of her kids.  Her DH is open to adoption, but not ready yet.  Can you pray for him to find a peace about adoption? 

HJ and SG were there with us also, but were busy playing on the playground.  After a while, HJ came over to me and asked to take some pictures.  She certainly has a different perspective on things!
