Sorry for the late update; I didn't get down to see him until this evening. Grandpa was looking and sounding the best I have seen him so far. Of course, this is probably because he hadn't just gotten back from a walk or moved to his chair or been rousted for some test/exam.
Unfortunately, he has developed an infection around the surgical site. They are adjusting his antibiotics to try and knock the infection down. The biggest area for prayer is for this infection. If they can't get it under control with meds, they may have to do surgery again to remove it.
Fortunately, it is NOT MRSA.
He is on clear liquids and walking as much as he has energy. Please continue to pray for his healing.
