Robert and Jen met at a Bible study when they both were
working in North Carolina. Before long,
they knew they always wanted to be together.
When Robert proposed, Jen's response
was "No way!", but it was a shocked, "Yes!" sort of
no way. When their second child turned
one they decided to move back to Jen's home state of NH to be near family.
From early on in their marriage, they both felt sure that
they were being led to adopt "someday", but knew that
"someday" was in the future.
At that point, the faces of orphans were vague. They just knew that all
children deserved to know the love of a family and the love of Jesus for them.
Earlier this year they both, almost simultaneously, came to
the realization that they were feeling God nudging them to take the next
steps. They began looking at Reece's
Rainbow's photos and particular faces began to stand out. No longer were the faces vague. Each little face was a special blessing,
fearfully and wonderfully made by God that was crying out to be saved.
As with many international adoptions, there are a lot of twists and turns and delays that we just don't understand. The Deml's have just experienced the part of the roller coaster ride where the bottom drops out and you feel like you are falling. Jen describes what has happened here

However, they are pulling themselves together with God's help and moving forward. Jen talks about that here

As they move forward, they still need your financial help to bring home their child(ren) (I'm sure they could use some words of encouragement as well). If you feel led to donate to them, you can do so through their Reece's Rainbow account here

There are a few of you that didn't make it to the list. I tried to get in touch with you but couldn't. I needed a way to donate provided (paypal, agency info, etc). Since that wasn't available, I couldn't highlight your family.
