Day 6 - Rick and Michelle

We are in the process of adopting two little girls from Ukraine who are close in age, but in different regions. Therefore the expense of our adoption is anticipated to be a bit higher than adopting two from the same region. Our adoption "timeline" is not going as most do. We began our pursuit of the girls over the summer, then found out we'd have to move from Idaho to Texas for my husband's work. This put a kink in "the plan". So our focus right now is primarily on the paperwork gathering and bringing in the funds so they are ready and available when we arrive in TX next month and can complete our homestudy there. Once the HS is complete, having the funds already in place will allow us to move forward much more quickly. We just found out today that one of our girls is supposed to be transferred to a mental institution later this week, so we have a sense of urgency to run full speed with each step ahead of us.

There are "Chip In" and Paypal "Donate" buttons on the right side column of our blog.

Just a reminder - this is about giving, so you need a Chip In or Donate button on your blog for people to donate.  If you don't have one of those, please include your agency information in your comment to me and I will direct people to donate directly to your agency. Also, if you can leave an e-mail in your comment, it will make it easier for me to contact you if I need anything else.  I won't publish it.

One other thing - EVERYONE who asks will be included.  NO ONE gets left out of our 24 days of giving!
