Day 8 - The Thompson's

I am violating my rule about posting families in the order I received their comment because this family is leaving so soon. So, here is today's second featured family.

We found out yesterday (or perhaps the day before... days are blurring right now!) that we must be in Shanghai on the December 24th so we can get our 5 yo DD Piper on the 26th! We will then go to Hangzhou on the 27th where we will get our 6 yo DD Jadyn! WOW!! Not only will we have them both in 2011 (WHAT an answer to prayer!) but they will be living, breathing Christmas gifts!! God has truly blessed us with this news...

Inter-country adoption has decreased 59 percent from its high in 2004, due primarily to restrictions by sending countries.
81.5 million Americans have considered adoption. If just 1 in 500 of these adults adopted, every waiting child would have a permanent family.
