Raptor Fun Run

Last weekend at the race, SG decided that she wanted to do the fun run. Unfortunately, we managed to miss the start of the race and she was very upset. So she wanted to try again this week.

For the fun runs, they split the kids up by age and let them run a VERY short distance. She wasn't near the front, but she ran her little heart out! I think I will encourage her to keep it up and maybe by the time the next running season starts in August, she'll be ready.

I might even run with her to start!

Inter-country adoption has decreased 59 percent from its high in 2004, due primarily to restrictions by sending countries.
81.5 million Americans have considered adoption. If just 1 in 500 of these adults adopted, every waiting child would have a permanent family.
Every year more than 23,000 children age out of foster care, leaving them without families of their own.
