Today is a hard day

This is the longest we have ever been away from our kids - except for our trip to China to adopt HJ. So far, we have been pretty busy and it has kept my mind off of missing the kids. We call them once a day to talk, but I still miss them. We haven't seen AT since Sunday 6/20 when we dropped him off at Summer Camp. I am sitting here at Panera's (thank goodness for free wi-fi!) and looking at their picture at the top of the blog - and I am crying. I REALLY do miss them. I can't wait to get home and have them all tackle me at once to give me a hug. I hate that we won't get home until Thursday late and I have to go to work on Fri to check out (my last day there). Thank GOD that it is a LONG weekend and we will have 3 WHOLE days together until I start my new job.

We still have lots to do to prep the house and personal stuff and financial stuff and other stuff before we can leave. Hopefully, once we get going today, I'll get my mind off of them and it won't be so hard.

I'm just so thankful for my Dad being there for us to take care of the kids in our absence and for our good friend Mr. E who "kidnaps" the kids and takes them to the park and out for dinner while we are gone. God is an AWESOME God.
