The 24 Days of Giving - Our Winner

So, back on Nov 30, God gave me an idea for a way to bless families who are fundraising for their adoptions this Christmas Season.  We had 30 families join us for The 24 Days of Giving.  These families represented four countries (China, Uganda, Ethiopia, and South Korea) and 38 children (YEA!!!) that consisted of 19 girls, 12 boys and 6 unspecified gender.

Our family had a wonderful time reading about each family and their journey to their children yesterday.  We took time to pray for each family as we drew their name in our reverse drawing.  I think our kids enjoyed it as much as we did!  So, for the moment you've all been waiting for.......

Our Winner of the Grand Prize is
The McEwans
You can click on their name above and read their story...

But since we have such a heart for these kids, we have decided to give ALL of the families something to help bring their kids home.  It will probably take a couple of days for me to get around to each family to make the donation, so please be patient.

Merry CHRISTmas

Merry Christmas! Congratulations to the grand prize winning family and each family that participated!

Please let your children know what a possitive difference this made in all our lives. To know that someone out there cares enough to help a stranger is what being a Christian really is.

You guys totally rock. Thank you sooo much for being so giving. Your gift is a HUGE blessing and will help the orphans in the River of Grace foster home get the therapy and surgery they need.

There is a little thank you coming to you from our family to yours this week.
May you have an AMAZING, awesome, 2011!!!
Blessings and love,
Lynnea for all and River of Grace

Congratulations to the McEwan family. And thank you for your donation to my adoption fund. I know so many people are unsupportive of singles adopting and I appreciate your openness and willingness to highlight my family when most won't acknowledge us!

Blessings in the new year :)

I am so so so very happy that you found the family that god most wanted these funds to go to! What a wonderful gift (both to receive and give!) And to see that little face right there in this post is such a bonus! Thank you for sharing this story with us. I have treasured it!

Thank you doesn't seem like enough here. We are overwhelmed with gratefulness and shocked we were chosen to receive this gift knowing there were so many other families that needed this too. Giving praise to our Father for His provisions. Thank y'all!!
