We are Mark and Anita and have been married for 27 years (WOW!), but been together now for almost 31 years having met in high school while in the musical Carousel together. We live in, I guess, what would be considered the southwest now! But we are transplants from the midwest, having lived in the northeast, southeast and south (that would be Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Tennessee and Florida). The Lord has taken us all kinds of places as we served in ministries across the country in pastoral ministry and Crisis Pregnancy Center Ministries. We are currently serving a church as Senior Pastor (Mark) and Worship Leader (Anita) of our small church (50 people).
We have 3 bio kiddos and 1 adopted SN daughter, Kaylin, from China. We are now adopting a son from China, Kaleb, who is 5-1/2 yrs old with several SNs. We have stepped out in faith to his adoption and watched the Lord provide in just 3 short months what you see listed on our adoption thermometer through extra work, fundraisers, garage sale, etc. We are sending off our docs for authentication and then we will be DTC! The exciting part is that since we are an I600 family our paperwork will be expedited and quite possibly travel in April (which is at least 2 months less than we thought we had to fundraise).
The other exciting news of our family is that our daughter is also getting married on March 12th. So, we are juggling wedding expenses and adoption expenses at the same time. All wonderful events for our family, but all needing God's supply.
We have a Chip-In on our blog (click on the blog badge below) where donations can be made.

If you don't know what this is all about, just go read this post. If you are fundraising for an adoption, please join us by commenting here. For those who can, please prayerfully consider these families for a GIFT from you this CHRISTmas season. Also, please share this with others so we can all experience the joy of GIVING this season by linking to my blog. There is even a blog badge on the sidebar you can use.
P.S. For some of you asking to be featured, there is no way for people to donate. There is no Chip-in or pay-pal link on your blog so people can easily GIVE. Please make sure there is at least a Chip-in, Pay-Pal link, 501(c)3 organization or e-mail for folks (including me!) to be able to donate to you. I will try to contact you to let you know who you are, but I may end up just having to leave a comment on your blog.
