WOO!!!HOO!!! Lucky Mama!!!

Wow!  I went in this morning a little nervous.  I was afraid that since we have had such a great transition with GW that we wouldn't get lucky twice.  Well, I had nothing to fear.  TJ came with big happy smiles and seems thrilled to have three brothers and two sisters.  We were a little late getting there so TJ walked in right before we did.  We actually held back some so we didn't follow him in too closely.  We were able to sit down with him and talk some.  GW was terrific and just waited patiently for us on the other couch.  We showed him his backpack and some of the items we brought for him including his photo album.  He asked if there was another one for him to leave with this CWI.  We told him no, but that we would have another one made and sent to them.  We will do the same for GW's CWI also.

We then had to sign some paperwork.  JA was wonderful taking video for us.  One of our camera batteries died, but our other one still worked.  JA also took some pictures for us too.  He was also great at hanging out with GW so he didn't feel too left out.

Next, we were able to ask all of our questions.  We found out that he had been living with a foster family through Half the Sky at the CWI which we did not know.  We also found out that they told him we were coming back on January 1st.  Now I feel bad for not sending him a care package.  Oh well, next time :-)  (Don't tell CP I just typed that!)    We asked about going to his CWI and they said yes.  When our guide explained that we were going to visit his CWI to say goodbye and to tell his classmates goodbye, he lit up!

When we got in the van, he was very excited and kept leaning forward with his face close to mine.  It was all I could do to not lean over and kiss his sweet cheeks!  We went to Carrefour and he was singing a little song the whole way there!  GW has been talking much more now that TJ is with us.  He is also helping us "translate" as he understands some of our English and sign language and can explain to TJ for us.

While in Carrefour, our guide said TJ kept saying "Wow!"  because there was so much stuff there.  We got him a suitcase and he asked why he needed one!!! We explained that it is for his things that he has.  We then got some snacks and drinks.  It was snowing again during parts of our trip.  He likes the snow.  We finally got back to the hotel and had to sign a few more papers.  He was starting to be a little more wound up.  I think he was just getting overstimulated with all of the new things.  We then brought our stuff to our room and showed him his bed and his things that we brought for him.

We went to lunch and then went looking for pants for TJ.  We didn't have much luck with that, but did get a pair of pants and a shirt for GW.  We have now come back to the room and are just hanging out.  The boys are showing each other how to play their DS games and having a fun time.

When we were out walking around looking for some pants and a shirt for TJ, he kept racing out ahead of us.  Finally, we wrote on the translator to "walk next to me" and he did after that.  He has been wonderful so far and GW is taking it all in stride.  JA understands that he may be left out some with TJ and GW, but so far, the three are getting along very well.  I'll be uploading pictures soon - they'll probably be there by the time you wake up and read this.

On another side note, TJ shuffles his feet when he walks, but GW is not shuffling his anymore.  GW now comes in the room and takes his coat off.  He is definately getting more comfortable with us each day.

It is not luck, but great blessings! Girl, you are so blessed and I'm so happy for you and your entire family. I pray that this transition continues to go smoothly. Your new boys are adorable.

Have a wonderful remaining two weeks & we pray you have safe travels everywhere you go.
