The boys regularly walk up to the W*lgr**ns to buy a drink and a snack. Yesterday when they came home, TJ had bought two 2-liter sodas! We told him that we didn't want him buying such large sodas. He said that the smaller ones were more expensive; he gets more soda for less money by purchasing the 2-liters.
So how could I argue with that?
We did tell him that he needed to leave them in the kitchen though. To which he replied "Everyone will drink them". So we said to put them in our room. He then responded, "What's the difference between that and them staying in his room?" We told him that way we could control how much soda he drank. We told him he could have his soda each night for dinner.
So last night, at dinnertime, he came and asked me for his soda. I gladly went and got it and poured it for him. He had a huge smile and was very happy!
