Dad's in the Hospital

I took my dad to the ER last night. He has a small bowel obstruction. He had this 3.5 yrs ago and was able to get things sorted out without surgery. However, this time, the Dr. is recommending surgery sooner rather than later. As you can imagine, general anesthesia for a 78 yr old is not a walk in the park.

Please pray that we can get a quick 2nd opinion and that surgery can be averted.

Inter-country adoption has decreased 59 percent from its high in 2004, due primarily to restrictions by sending countries.
81.5 million Americans have considered adoption. If just 1 in 500 of these adults adopted, every waiting child would have a permanent family.
