Fortunately, that hurdle was overcome by putting a rush on the paperwork.
Then Wednesday night, I was driving home listening to the radio and heard that there was a tropical storm warning up for our part of Florida.
I panicked!!! Insurance companies will NOT issue an insurance binder once a tropical system is within a certain range of Florida. I called our realtor and asked her to PLEASE find out if we were still going to be able to close today.
The only Hurricanes I think about this time of year are these
Fortunately, the buyer had gotten their insurance taken care of ahead of time. So that wasn’t going to hold up the closing.
We made arrangements to sign our portion of the documents on Thursday because on Friday, I was scheduled in meetings all day and CP needed to take BG and TJ to basketball practice at 3:30 and then drop off HJ and SG for their American Heritage Girls camping trip at 4:30.
We went last night and when we walked in we found out that the buyer still had NOT scheduled a time for them to come in and sign their paperwork. WHAT!?!?!??!?
It’s now Friday morning and as far as I know, they still have NOT scheduled the time to sign the paperwork today.
Please continue to pray that this actually closes today.

Now all we have to worry about is whether the Hurricane will shut down all businesses in Canada on Monday.
