JA did it! He got a hit!!! JA has amblyopia which makes it harder for him to see the ball coming at him. We have been working really hard on getting him to "see" the ball soon enough to swing and hit it. This past weekend, we went to the batting cages for practice. At first, he was having a hard time hitting even the 30mph pitches. But by the end of our time there, he was making contact with the 40mph pitches and getting a few into the field. So tonight, his first at bat he was walked, but his second at bat, he did this...
