Progress!!! Dad continues to improve each day. All systems appear to be working now ;-) and Dad was cleared for "regular" liquids. So for lunch today he got applesauce, orange juice, creamy broth soup, tea and milk!
The ID doc also came in and said his infection is continuing to look better and they are going to switch from IV antibiotics to pill form.
I also forgot to mention yesterday that they took away his "pain button". He had a button hooked up to an IV with pain meds in it that he could use to deliver the pain meds as needed. Now, he can just ask for a pain shot if he needs it.
Still no specific ETA for coming home, but each day he gets better and better.
AT and CP are still fighting fevers and congestion and coughs, so they are going to see the Dr. on Monday.
