Conundrum - an intricate and difficult problem
BG turns 15 on Thursday! His first birthday at home with us! (We had a very calm, quiet evening the night he turned 14 with a cake and a friend in our hotel room in Kunming) We have plans to visit the Mouse on either Thursday or Friday. We will give him our gifts from the family on Saturday during the day. We have planned his party with his friends for Saturday evening from 6 - 10pm and distributed the invitations.
Today, CP found out that he won an award for his art! (Only his second competition) Guess when the awards ceremony is ?
That's right
Saturday
at 5:30pm.
The ceremony lasts until 6:30 (if they end on time) and is followed by a reception.
What's a mom/wife to do!?!?!??!?!

Can your husband take CP to the award ceremony while you are hostessing the start of the party?
That would be my first suggestion.
Your other option is to contact anyone who received an invite and push back the start time of the party. :S

Can you and CP drive separately to the ceremony so you can hurry back? And push the start time back to 7pm?
So I guess your husband can't take CP to the ceremony. ROFL
